Bangladesh Dutch Joint Response

This project provides life-saving basic assistance in settlements, camps and host communities, seeking the protection, dignity and safety of Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. The assistance includes food security, health, shelter and protection sectors. Specific activities include food distributions, livelihoods support and income generation activities with a special focus on marginalized farmers, women from the poorest households and large families. The project will upgrade shelters and provide essential household items while providing sufficient quantities and quality of water, sanitation and hygiene. The project will promote opportunities for resilience and empowerment in the camps, targeting the most marginalized, including promotion of social opportunities and social cohesion.
