Enhanced Food Security in Somaliland

World Concern will partner in this project to enhance food security by way of agriculture and livelihoods. The goal is to increase the food self-sufficiency of 420 households in Somaliland. In short summary, this will be achieved through adaptive capacity to disasters and diversifying livelihoods through crop production and self-help groups. The project will build the communities' knowledge and capacity to manage risks associated with current climate variability. Rural livelihoods will be promoted through the empowerment of women in the savings and loans establishment of small scale businesses. Farmers will also get enhanced skill training and agricultural techniques and diversification training.
