Resilience +: Community-Led Food Crisis Recovery in the Sahel II (CORE II)

The project seeks to deepen, lengthen and widen its CORE project to improve resilience in agro pastoral regions of Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger. The three-year initiative will impact 104,466 people with integrated approaches to improve agricultural and animal production, increase income generation and strengthen community-based organizations to deliver quality and trusted services to small-scale farmers. The objectives of the program include: 1)Household agricultural production is diversified, increased and protected (absorptive and adaptive resilience capacities). 2)Sales margins and incomes from agricultural surpluses are increased (absorptive and adaptive capacities). 3)Strong and accountable community-based organizations (CBOs) provide agricultural advisory services and harness their social capital to support community resilience (adaptive and transformative capacities).
